Guide for entrants

The Navitas Lives Transformed Competition celebrates the amazing journeys of our students and alumni whose lives have been changed through education at a Navitas institution. Here’s a simple overview of what you need to know before entering.

Who can enter

  • A current or past student of a Navitas owned or operated college, campus, or English language centre in Australia, NZ or Asia.
  • 18 years or older when the competition closes on 5 June 2026.
  • If you are a past student, you must have successfully completed your studies at your Navitas institution.

What you need to submit

To enter, you’ll need to complete the online entry form and provide:
  • A brief story about how education at a Navitas institution transformed your life.
  • A 60-second short video that brings your story to life.
  • A photo of yourself (Portrait). Should be clear, high-quality, and no-group photos.

Written story guide:
In up to 250 words, reflect on how your studies opened doors to new possibilities. Describe the experiences, insights, or support that helped you move forward in your learning journey. Focus on the aspects that expanded your confidence, direction, or opportunities, and share your story in your own voice. Don’t forget to include your name and the name of the Navitas institution where you studied.

Video guide:
Think of your video as a chance to share your story and to describe what studying at your Navitas college, campus, or centre has meant for you. In your 60-second video you might describe:
  • A moment, experience, or opportunity that shaped your learning journey.
  • Something that challenged you, or opened a new door.
  • Support you found along the way, whether from teachers, staff, or classmates.
  • How your studies have influenced where you are now or where you’re headed.

Video recording tips:
  • Choose a quiet, well-lit space
  • Film in portrait (vertical) format
  • Frame yourself from the upper body
  • Speak clearly and confidently
  • Shoot from the right angle
File formats and naming instructions:
  • MP4, MOV, or AVI format only for your video
  • JPG, JPEG, or PNG format only for your photo
  • Use your first and last name in lowercase in file names
  • Do not use spaces or special characters, separate words with a hyphen (-)
  • Example: firstname-lastname-video.mp4, firstname-lastname-photo.jpeg

Winner requirements

If you win, you must be able to:
  • Attend the Navitas Business Partners Conference at Cinnamon Life, City of Dreams in Colombo, Sri Lanka, from 8-12 September 2026
  • Share your story in person at the conference, and participate in all events and activities outlined in the official schedule, along with interviews
  • Hold a valid passport and be fit and available to travel on the dates provided
All winner obligations are outlined in the Terms and Conditions.
Travel arrangements will be confirmed with the winner.

By submitting this form, you acknowledge and agree that:
  • I will be 18 years or older on 5 June 2026 and am currently studying, or have successfully completed my studies, at a Navitas college, campus or English language centre.
  • Where I have provided consent in the Photography and Videography Consent Form, Navitas may use part or all of my application for promotional or educational purposes, including my photo, video and story.
  • I have read the Talent Privacy Notice and Terms and Conditions.
