New courses at Edith Cowan College

Edith Cowan College in Perth, Western Australia is excited to announce the launch of two new courses: Foundation and PQP Stage 1.

Edith Cowan College (ECC) is proud to announce their new courses: PQP Stage 1 and Foundation Program.

Post-Graduate Qualifying Program Stage 1 is designed for students who hold an Australian Associate Degree or equivalent with an overall IELTS of 5.5, with no more than one band at 5.0 or equivalent. Eligible students will be introduced to Effective Communication, Research Methods, Critical Thinking and improving their academic English. On completion of PQP Stage 1, students will progress into PQP Stage 2 leading to a 2-year Masters at Edith Cowan University (ECU).

  • 2 intakes – October and April
  • Students with 5.5 IELTS or equivalent will now only get 2 COEs (PQP and Masters)
  • One visa for the entire duration
  • Students may be eligible for 4 years Post-Study Work Visa on completion of their Masters at ECU

Foundation Program is 10 months duration, and allows students to enter directly into the first year of undergraduate study at Edith Cowan University (ECU). Students are eligible for the Foundation Program if they have finished Year 11 or Year 12 in their home country and also hold an IELTS 5.5, with no band less than 5.0 or equivalent.

At ECU, there are over 250 courses course in eight study areas to choose from:
